We started Ghumo because we were tired of overpaying for flights. Every platform showed different prices for the same seat. So we built the tool we wished existed — one search, every platform, the actual cheapest fare. No tricks. No hidden fees. Just truth.

Our Mission

Making flight search honest and simple for every Indian traveller

India has over 140 crore people and a booming domestic aviation market. Yet finding the cheapest flight still requires checking 4–5 different apps, comparing confusing pricing, and dodging hidden convenience fees. That's broken.

Ghumo fixes this. We aggregate real-time search results from MakeMyTrip, Ixigo, Cleartrip, EaseMyTrip, and Google Flights into one simple interface. We don't sell tickets. We don't charge fees. We Don't Sell Tickets

Ghumo is a search engine, not a booking platform. When you click "Search," we redirect you to live results on MakeMyTrip, Ixigo, Cleartrip, EaseMyTrip, or Google Flights. You book directly on their platform — we never touch your payment or personal data.

How We Make Money

When you click through to a booking platform from Ghumo, we may earn a small referral fee from that platform. This costs you absolutely nothing extra — the fare is the same whether you find it through Ghumo or directly. This model keeps our service free forever.

Results Are Unbiased

We don't prioritise platforms that pay us more. We don't manipulate search order. We don't hide cheaper options. Every platform is presented equally — sorted only by the fare that matters to you. We have zero incentive to mislead you.

We Don't Store Your Data

Ghumo doesn't require sign-up, login, or personal information. We don't track your searches to show you higher prices later. We don't sell your data. Your flight search is between you and the booking platform you choose.

Content Is Verified

Every route guide on Ghumo is written by experienced travellers and verified against official airline sources, DGCA data, and airport authorities. We cite our sources, update regularly, and mark any information that's time-sensitive.

No Dark Patterns

We don't use fake urgency timers, inflated "original prices," or misleading strike-through discounts. We don't auto-add travel insurance. We don't pre-select paid services. What you see is what you get — always.

Our Journey

From Frustration to India's Trusted Flight Search

What started as a personal project to stop overpaying for flights became a tool that 2 lakh+ Indians now rely on.

Early 2025 — The Problem

Fed Up With Overpaying

Our founders — all frequent domestic flyers — realised they were spending 30–45 minutes checking multiple apps before every trip just to find the cheapest fare. The same IndiGo seat cost ₹3,200 on one platform and ₹4,800 on another. Something was fundamentally broken.

Mid 2025 — The Build

Building the Solution

We built a prototype that searched all major platforms simultaneously. The first version covered just 10 routes — Mumbai-Goa, Delhi-Mumbai, Delhi-Bangalore. Friends and family tested it. The feedback was unanimous: "This should exist for everyone."

Late 2025 — Launch & Growth

Launched to the Public

Ghumo went live with 100+ routes and detailed guides for India's top 20 flight corridors. Word spread organically — mainly through WhatsApp and Twitter. Within 3 months, we crossed 50,000 searches with zero marketing spend.

2026 — Where We Are Today

Today, Ghumo covers 500+ domestic routes with expert guides, compares fares across 6 major platforms, and has helped over 2 lakh Indian travellers find cheaper flights. We're still a small, bootstrapped team — but we're growing fast because the product works.
